Clinicians: Jil Walton and Martha McDowell

Jil Walton was a member of the 1992 Barcelona Olympic team on a horse she started at Beginner Novice. She has developed many horses from the novice level and taken them to the four star level. She has also coached many riders through the four star level. She coached the Area VI (Ca) Young Riders Team for three years winning 3 Gold medals and a Silver and Bronze. In addition to a successful eventing career she has also competed several horses through Prix St George and has coached riders to earning their USDF Bronze and Silver medals.

Martha McDowell has trained with the best including: Jil Walton, Bobby Costello, Will Faudree, Buck Davidson, Ian Stark, Karen O’Connor and show jumpers Paul Rohrbach, Volker Ehlers,and Susie Hutchison. On board her dream partner, Gaelic Marriage, she has been the Area IX champion at the Preliminary, Intermediate and Advanced Levels for multiple years. She has been the USEA Advanced Adult Amateur of the year for 2009 and 2010.  In 2011, this pair competed in their first Rolex****.  She also has bred and trained the 2011 East Coast 4yo YEH Reserve Champion, “Fantastic Mr. Fox”.

 

SCHEDULE: Fri-private dressage lessons, Sat-stadium jumping, Sun-cross country
LEVELS: Pre-Beginner Novice, Beginner Novice, Novice, Training, Preliminary/Intermediate
ENTRY FEE: $225  for Sat & Sun. Private dressage lessons Fri: $75.
STABLING: $25 / night

STALL DEPOSIT: $50 (separate check) refundable only after stalls have been stripped. Everyone must strip their stalls. If you do not strip your stall before leaving, your refund will be forfeited. PLEASE strip your stall before leaving.
